Pretty accurate as a summation I think......Let me quote what Isaac Asimov wrote in his book "Foundation": "Mr Advocate, the rotten tree trunk, until the very moment that the storm breaks it in two, has all the appearance of might that it ever had. The storm blast is whistling through the branches of the Empire even now. Listen........and you will hear the creaking." Candidly, I firmly believe that Microsoft will be around for a long time yet......but the storm of free choice is rising. Unless there are more dramatic events, I don't think it will be a sudden "break"...more likely the death of a thousand cuts as little by little, the advantages of the Microsoft proprietary model are stripped away in the world of the future. Whatever, we live in interesting times, and I am so pleased to witness them.
