RE:Microsoft vs. Google Web-based office battle heats up again
"Corporate users: Are you interested in test-driving
web-based productivity solutions from Microsoft and/or
Google?"

No i am not really interested by such solutions
currently.

" What are your must-haves before you deploy these
kinds of services?"

First to be able to use it with whatever PC,include
netbooks with or without Windows, i have without
troubles.
Second to be able to save my documents on the local PC
by default.
Third to have it be a really viable alternative to
either Microsoft Office or Open Office, this means
that this web office suite should take advantage of
technology such as Ajax to reduce to an acceptable
level the drawbacks inherently linked to the web
nature of these applications.
For example i don't want the page to be refreshed at
each action like an insane amount of current web
applications.
