War is being fought on all fronts...
I just finished our yearly offsite with my rep. We spent 2 weeks in Aspen going over Microsoft's roadmap and how many millions I will spend this year on it. Microsoft's strategy for this year is to finally crush Linux and VMware once and for all. With Windows Server 2008 and Vista dominating the corporate landscape. it is high time VMware and Linux got out of the way. VMware is evil primarily because it places a third party software layer between Windows and the hardware. Windows is too elegant to run like this and must have native access to hardware. Only Hyper-V can provide this. Between Hyper-V, Vista and Jerry Seinfeld, Microsoft's ascendancy to world domination is a foregone conclusion.
