Opera grasps at straws with latest IE criticism

Microsoft is finally doing the right thing with IE

Of course Opera is going to be upset that Microsoft is going to be supporting standards like everyone else. Opera has made their market share simply by the sheer fact that IE previously WASN'T standards compliant. What is Opera to do now? (I don't know about you, but I do like the new Opera mobile on my WinMobile 6.1 device, it is wayyyyyyy better than IE mobile. Maybe Opera should keep developing in that arena).

The fact that IE8 is going to have a compatibility mode but default to standards mode means that Microsoft is doing the RIGHT THING: Listening to their customers (for a change). This might quite possiblly be the best business marketing decision that Microsoft has made in the past 25 years. They're finally getting their act together with IE8!
