Javascrpt speed is a compliance measure?

Microsoft browsers predate many standards.

Javascript is horrible. There are better solutions on the horizon and who cares about javascript tests that apply only to a once proprietary format from SUN? They were invented by the government and funded by the government and most companies could care less about Sun and it's technologies.

AJAX was invented by Microsoft in the 90s, so don't be throwing around the AJAX arguement.

It won't be long and AJAX and AJAX like technologies will be powered by real programming languages and not some crappy scripting language.
