Here's what I find strange.

Why in the world ANYONE who has totally written off a product or person or whatever it may be, ad they claim to have found happiness and peace in their lives and souls...finally, why would they ever ever come back to a Windows blog, or look at windows news, i just don't get it.


I mean you could say you are now a "watchdog" over MS or wahtever, but if you've found peace and contentment in your life, it makes no sense to come here and get yourself, obviously, all riled up again.


As for you being condescending to the OP, that was totally out of line. What is wrong with someone saying they've had a good experience with Vista? Do they owe it to YOU to say, well i had it lucky but Vista still sucks?

That's crazy.


In case you didn't notice or don't read beyond these kinds of forums, 95% of Vista's problems were their partners not getting their drivers and software ready for Vista. That was the bulk of it.


If that had happened, as it has every other release of Windows....you would have seen nothing but the die hards trying to kill vista cause they hate Microsoft, but otherwise just the things to iron out like with XP. Although i've noticed nothing more than XP at all sites I'm involved with actually. Vista is much more stable, thankfully and can run for very long periods and with a heavy load and the system doesn't start to become fragmented, but is solid as a rock. Problems with apps are just that, problems. I've not come across anything that I couldn't personally find the reason why and get it to work. Normally it's due to the default of another program or Windows that needs changed for that app. No big deal.


Anyone that took Microsoft's advice and used their many many tools and databases to find if a certain PC would be a Vista candidate, are the ones NOT having any problems. Like me.
