Don't get me wrong. Its nothing wrong with open source. It the point that the average consumer tends to get confused quickly. With so much confusion on what to buy inserted into the marketplace. The customer tends to buy something that they absolutely have no clue about. Now picture that if Microsoft wasn't around and Linux ran the show. The open source office productivity suites is extremely useful but the operating systems was meant for knowledgeable users until the developers and hardware manufacturers embrace one distro. Its only enough room for one distro unless Linux will never make it pass Apple to even come close to dethroning Microsoft.
