That said, if MS is going to compete with Google in the search space, they either have to do what Google does a lot better than Google does it (difficult) or they have to do something that Google doesn't do that would provide sufficient reason to use MS' offering either in addition to or instead of Google. Simply imitating Google won't do much.


I perfectly agree.
I can't understand, i sincerily can't understand how an enterprise as big as Microsoft with as much ressources is virtually unable to find efficient solutions to such problems.
This is beyond comprehension.
