Icahn's asking price...
will determine Ballmer's actions. I don't think MS will want to pay as much as it's original offer. It was at a substantial premium. Icahn probably realizes this and wont ask as much. He doesn't need to to make a decent profit on the deal. At some price, Ballmer will jump.
