Unless you actually have the spreadsheets from MS and Nintendo I would say all sources are inaccurate.

Even if we use your figures Nintendo still has surpassed Xbox 360 sales in 2/3rds of the time. Also, Nintendo has made a profit on every single one of those sales, whilst it is debatable if MS is even breaking even with the console sales (due to the high failure rate and the extended warranty hit)

I am not saying that those who own the Xbox360 don't get immense enjoyment out of it, but as a shareholder of MS and a purchaser of a substantial number Windows and Office licenses then the Xbox360 is a failure. The cost of embarking on such adventures is passed on to me in in higher costs/poor products and lower dividends.
