Well, I DLed it and installed. No reboots or strange behavior. Passmark scores went up. Things seem to be more stable and faster. Fans are going faster and the whole darn machine runs fine. Did the same to my Asus A8N-SLI32 X2 4400 and 2 7800GT's, no problem

AMD Opteron 185 @ 2.8, Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, 2 8600 GTS Superclocks, Audigy 2.

Maybe it's AM2's that are having issues.
