RTM does not mean availability...
What does RTM translate to nowadays anyway? Looking at the Vista RTM it's taken 4 months for SP1 availability, and that's required a multitude of pre-requisites, a whole list of itmes that won't work, and numerous installation woes reported. It's STILl not on the automatic updates. There was almost a 2 month delay getting it to the MSDN subscribers. In other words, the previous "RTM" release by Micorsoft has been a disaster meeting any kind of real schedule.

So, what does it exactly mean that SP3 has RTM'd? Does that mean it will be available in a week like we've all come to expect over the years- or another 4 months and a huge amount of patching like the current Vista Sp1 has shown us?
