Virtual Earth globe
I would love to view Virtual Earth on an actual sphere. It's be great to pan around zoom in. Maybe Microsoft's trying to make the next digital globe?

Or it could be a neat communications gadget. You could plug some webcam in it or somewhere near it, and have a video chat with your friends using it. And maybe you can send photos or other things across it as well and view them. It's just a visual playtoy. Like many of the other gadgets you see at Sharper Image.

Or it could be a visual learning tool. Maybe have some educational fun bits for kids to play around and immerse themselves in. Kids love to identify things physically, and maybe this is just another solution.

Who knows. But the possibilities can be endless. Hopefully it's something really nifty, like Surface.
