One word: Insane

Anyone who trusts a hosted database for important data is nuts. Period. Can you imagine what a hacker holy-grail something like this would be? Hundreds or *thousands* of companies, storing all kinds of sensitive data?

I wouldn't trust this if ADP were running it, much less a company like Microsoft, Oracle or (shudder) Amazon. Amazon? Jeez.

The IT industry is *years* away from being able to do this, Web DB is a joke, both from a reliability standpoint and a security standpoint.

Security Nightmare on Web Street anyone? (can you hear the blades scraping on the alley wall?)
