Not much news of upcoming products
I'm guessing it's probably because these products aren't coming for awhile, and it wouldn't make sense to blab about them before making sure there's no issues.

At least Microsoft gets that now, unlike in the past (WinFS).


And maybe some of these new things are really something, and Microsoft wants to make sure that nobody might steal an idea (PDC 2003) and pull it out as a finalized product first.

Anyways, Apple keeps mum until the last second, and that's the smart thing to do. Obviously, it works, and to bring higher anticipation to upcoming stuff. It's only now that Microsoft gets that.
