Microsoft offers a Vista two-for deal

Microsoft softens limits on its Windows Web
Server

Microsoft adds a new subscription licensing
plan for SMBs

Microsoft and Samba finally come to terms
over Windows protocols (Microsoft agrees to
cooperate with the European Union)

Microsoft to modify Windows Genuine
Advantage anti-piracy scheme ( Microsoft is
doing away with "reduced functionality mode"
for individuals that its WGA activation
and...)

Internet Explorer 7 update: Now WGA-free
(Microsoft has issued an updated Internet
Explorer (IE) 7 release that no longer
requires Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA)
validation in order to download)

Has Microsoft turned over a new leaf?
HARDLY! This is only 6 (possible) Microsoft
improvements listed on 15 pages of Articles
written by Mary Jo about them.

What it means: Microsoft is (slowly)
beginning to react to the surging popularity
of Mac OSX and Linux popularity, caused
mostly by Microsoft's arrogant abusive
treatment of those who purchase their
products, who are not even dignified by the
title of "customer" but are relegated to a
pool of insignificant "users".
