- No wonder they can't focus

Instead of focusing on providing value to their enterprise, desktop and productivity customers, they're slinging this way and that trying to find new growth markets. Zune, this thing, XBox, Home Server...it reminds me of a manure spreader. So much crap flying everywhere they've lost sight of their base. In that "fog" they completely missed the appliance and sub $200 notebook trend almost completely.
Don't get me wrong, I think Play Table is pretty cool and might have some interesting applications. But it's basically a touch screen on steroids. There is nothing novel about this technology. The application is new, and potentially useful, but not the underlying engine.
