Vista is more stable than XP for me
I have been running Vista since its business release and have it on a 3 year old Acer AMD 64 laptop a custom built Intel pc and a Dell GX620 without any issues. The Acer laptop had 1 gb of ram and while it ran ok I had some glitching problems playing the likes of counter strike or guildwars I have upgraded this to 2gb and they now run like a dream. The Dell PC only has 1gb of ram but sill runs fine this is a work system and as such is on all the time I have only had to restart the system when it has had updates and although some of our older applications do occasionally crash (but they do this on XP too) they do not crash the OS with them. I did have a few driver problems when Vista first came out but these have all been resolved and were the fault of the hardware manufacturer not microsoft and I have had similar problems with new hardware drivers on XP.
