Please clarify.
Two quotes from the article:

"When Windows Live Photo Gallery is installed on Vista, it will replace the Photo Gallery that ships as an integrated part of the product."

and

"In the case of Windows Live Photo Gallery, the software component is the Vista Photo Gallery that ships as part of the operating system, Hall said."


If the Photo Gallery is being replaced, it's not much of a software component.
