Not long ago there was a security hole on google's calendar which allows user to retrive other users' ids and passwords simply by typing something into the search box.

Have you forgotten Google was having problems too with their gmail not too long ago? Bunch of people lost all their emails for good and Google couldn't even provide a good answer.

I'm both a hotmail and gmail user. IMHO, both have their strenghts and weaknesses.

The bottom line is - you trust no one and always backup your important stuff.
