This will buy me that extra year I need, but I am not sure if that will be enough time to get ready.

Vista will begin to take off in about a year, knowing how history has a tendency to repeat itself, by 2009, the majority of people will probably be starting th force their XP systems out the door and by 2011, everyone should be past the XP era.

Four years seems about right. Hopefully by that time, Mac will have taken 10% of the market.
