All of Office 2007 = stupidity
Outlook 2007 isn't the only stupidity.

I loaded a test version of Office 2007 and an accountant with 15+ years experience with almost every spreadsheet application was literally left sitting in stunned disbelief at the removal of menus and menu bars.

I myself wanted to get access to a calendar template that was only available on Word 2007. The position of the drawing objects wasn't quite right so I wanted to drag them all at once. In every version of Word you'd take 2 sec to select the object selection pointer, select your objects, and move them.

I couldn't believe the mish-mash of crap that I had to go through to get that pointer.

Memo to BIll Gates: MS office became a defacto standard because from 1995 to 2003 the product was virtually unchanged from a UI perspective. To destroy over a decade of value to end-users by replacing everything with task panels and that idiotic round left-side "Start" button is beyond words. Maybe if that button actually was a start button, then it might actually make some sense.. instead it's really only to get access to the "file menu"
