Microsoft Criticism
Microsoft criticism has to be framed within the larger context of technology as a
whole. It has to happen constantly.

There is no "competition" between XP and Vista. The implication that there is, is at
the heart of the problem. Within the context of a blog, journalistic integrity is not
the agenda. Personal integrity is. Readers would be better served if you kept both
the Macbook and the Ferrari, disclosed the gifts, then pitted them against one
another, and blogged the results. Instead, a choice has been made to serve the
logo rather than the logic gate. I don't have trouble with an honest bias. I do have
trouble with dishonest objectivity.

Microsoft is blogged to the exclusion of other platforms. Real comparisons are
absent. This is codependency criticism. There is a conceit of journalistic integrity
because the laptops go back. After a years of Microsoft myopia, there was nothing
left to protect.
