USB 3.0 finally!
Finally, we'll have a USB standard which can surpass the transfer speed we've had with FireWire 800 for YEARS. It will be nice to be able to get external Compact Flash readers which can finally keep up with the maximum read speed of the best new UDMA CF cards. Not even Firewire 800 could max out reading them. With 64GB CF cards and 20 megapixel cameras becoming more common, transfer speed to your desktop is becoming a huge issue. USB 3.0 should help a LOT.
