how about protecting the consumer?
That whould be a nice change. the iphone (and ipod touch) is NOT a gaming console. Peoples should be able to run any program they want for the device they PAID FOR.

Apple artificial crippling of the iPhone is outright CRIMINAL, Apple should be punish and FORCED to unlock the thing.

If you app is widespread but have a 80% piracy rate (probably grossly inflated number) then...
1. Good NEWS! your apps is popular
2. Bad NEWS! you are charging way to much for it.

when it come to illegal monopoly, Apple is the king, they make microsoft look like amateur.
