Finally.
That case was BS.

XP is old and Microsoft doesn't want to support it anymore. It's not like this was in the books from day 1, they have a set support cycle. Eventually, you have to let it go. Too bad, so sad. Either use Vista/7 or move to a different platform.

However, I don't see how OEM's are violating anything. If you were HP, for example, and PC1 running Windows sold more than PC2 running *nix, eventually getting to the point where PC1 is the only system selling, what would you do? Would you continue to waste your resources on a PC that isn't selling as much?
