A fragmented market is a healthy market.

You can compare it to an ecosystem: a great variety of species is best. Domination of one species poses risks: diseases, plagues.

So we can say that the operating system market shows a healthy trend, but is still in an unhealthy state. No wonder viruses and malware are still rampant....

We can applaud the trend, but we can't ignore the current state of affairs. So my answer to your question is: yes and no.
