As always, you are right on. Though, there will be mass migrations to Win7.
Partially because all of the driver problems (at least for new hardware) have been solved as Vista blazed the way. Also, XP is just that much older and un-cool. Finally, 2 years after Vista, lots of memory and fast processors are cheaper than ever.

So, yes, Win7 has a lot of the same problems as the current version of Vista, but, Vista is taking all of the hate, memory and processor power are cheaper, and XP is prehistoric!! Expect mass migrations.

Me, I will stick with Ubuntu . . . .
