RE: Windows 7 RC - First Run (First look: Windows 7 RC)
Ha ha a linux user commenting on experiences with the current Windows interfaces. You know what the problem is? Notice how the people who complain about the newer Operating systems, then ask what are you using. Vista is a flop yes, and it is becuase you basically need a 3,000 PC to use it accordingly. Now MS learned something from this and Created a little newer inface with Windows 7, and well now it is said that all computers capable of XP can probably spend a few monies on minor upgrades and run it fine. Little things like memory and a updated low end VIdeo card. Yes we shouldn't be expected to buy new hardware for a new OS, but really that extra $100, will go a long way and you should have bought a new video card by now anyway. Shoot people think. PC hardware is intended to be used for about 3-5 years max, and by this time the hardware is about 75% of what it was when you bought it new. Bottom line is that old hardware isn't just out dated, but it is tired from the years of use. WAKE UP PEOPLE. Windows 7 will be the death of Vista and XP not to mention all the other windows operating systems which are MS related.

MS landed an awesome model, now stop being affraid of change just so that you can remain lazey and not learning a new approach. The learning curve here is really the only thing that has the people sticking to XP, THEY ARE USE TO IT AND ARE TO LAZEY TO TAKE 30 MINUTES TO LEARN THE COMMON THINGS
