I don't blame the designers - more the left brain
management that has always crippled the look of this
OS.
From an operational standpoint - I just downgraded to
XP - pretty much a bitter Vista user - and I am so
much happier.
What are you brining Windows? What functionality are
you charging me a premium for? What really is any
different from W2K to Vista - I do not see it -
searches are really not any faster - boot and shutdown
are way slower - had to use compatibility mode for
much of my legacy software rendering it useless -
prettier? Try again - your 'baby rattle' aesthetic has
always sucked.
Your entire business model is based on the fact that
users really have no choice - buying windows is part
and parcel of buying a PC - crappy ugly bloatware.
