This is really really old

and easy to convince people that because what she bought has the
same screen size as a Macbook pro then they must be equal. It's just
like with the old MHz tactic Intel used to combat Motorola and IBM.
The Intel processor just seemed faster and better because it offered
higher MHz, when in reality it was often slower with a considerable
amount, especially when the PowerPC could execute AltiVec code,
because of how inefficient the x86 was and still is.

People in general are technically impaired and often don't have a clue
of any technical merits or shortcomings, so Intel's marketing strategy
was successful.

So I think it was a good thought to use price as an argument for
people to buy a Windows PC, people can't and won't compare the
technical details anyway. The ad was just so boring.
