This could be bad
I hope someone is checking to see if Seagate isn't using their drives with the bad firmware. They were mainly the 1TB, 1.5TB, and some 500GB's that had the problem. Although according to Seagate themselves, the entire Barracuda line was affected. had three of those 1 TB's drives fail in a very short span of time. Two with the known firmware and one with another known "click of death" issue
I think they stopped producing the bad drives by the beginning of this year, but there's still plenty of those bad drives in stores!
