Haven't rtried this one yet
just wondering if you might have any ideas why my results with the 64bit betas has been so contrary to yours.

It would be nice to have better performance than XP, but I'm not seeing it on a AMD Althon64 3200 machine with 2 GB RAM. This is not my newest or fastest machine, but is my test bed, and I use identical drives swapped in and out to compare.

Not only have I not seen better performance than the Windows XP Pro XP2 (fully patched except for SP3 changes), I continue to have troubles with the video - ATi Radeon.

I really hate the UI, as I see it as atavistic, going back all the way to Windows 3.1, but that has not made my actual testing model change, or my method get sloppy. I also don't like the file structure changes, but improved speed would go a long way to sway my opinion of it.
