the competition is healthy
The new browser war is much healthier than the first browser war. Back when Netscape and IE were competing to see who could add the most nonstandard HTML rendering features, the result was a complete mess that even now hasn't fully been cleaned up.

Today, browsers are aiming for standards compliance and competing on other features; the result is that all of them are improving, either through innovation or imitation. Whichever browser you choose, it's better than what was available a few years ago.
