RE: (Windows 7 - Heal thyself!)
While there are similarities to the more intuitive recovery system in Windows7 this is definately not the same as in Vista or XP other than the cosmetic appearance of how the recovery system displays the steps it is taking. The Windows7 repair utility goes about these steps in a much more logical and thourough process, that is far and away superior to any system used to date and the end result is by far faster and more sure of correctly repairing the system than it has been at any time in the past. But, I must stress that all similarities to previous systems ends at the cosmetic level. Windows7 is the first system I have used that I was able to take the HD from a completely sdifferent system and after running the repair utility the system ran without a hitch, and yes I did this on purpose to test the efficiency of the repair function. LOL and neither Vista or XP was able to do this, while Vista did a better job than XP it still had many driver problems which Windows7 had none due to the fact that it was able to actually find the corrrect drivers and install them without a hitch.
