You are kidding, right? Why would you think "pirates" would not be able to download, burn an ISO, crack, and run any game or other software?

Perhaps you should visit some forums and check out the step by step instructions that are avilable.

As far as horsepower to run games, you should check prices on hardware...vendors are almost giving stuff away.

All of the above being said, it is clear that copy protection only affects people that buy programs. Once the beancounters finally accept that pirates can, with time, bypass any copy protection they try and incorporate in their software, the better off the legitimate customers will be.
