Apple is in excess of 25 years old......
Do you have any idea how many recessions Apple has
weathered so far? I for one do not but I'm guessing
around 4 or more. Apple's sales are strong and Apples
margins grants it Apple more wiggle room to survive slow
downs. I'd be sweating this if I were a Dell or GateWhy
perhaps because margins being razor thin all the way
down the supply chain there could be a drop in parts
quality resulting in larger than usual warranty claims that
would destroy those thin profit margins.

Lets see a 1% drop in desktops!?! PLEASE!!! Strong laptop
sales. Strong iPhone and iPod sales. Where's the beef?
Apple could always go low if it choose too its just never
had to and so far I still don't see the need at least yet. I
think the term recession proof is cause for confusion. Will
sales be effected...sure. Will Apple survive and thrive....
probably. The concept that Apple will not have its sales
effected by a major recession have always been silly but
none the less of all the companies out there I would want
to be running while facing a major recession Apple is right
up there on the list I would choose from.
