I haven't compared bootup times. They don't matter. The only thing you need to do is start your PC first, then go get coffee, say good morning to your co-workers and come back.
Anyway I have installed Windows 7 on my older Tablet PC to see for myself wether all the performance and stability talks are true or marketing ...
