...crash used to happen when I was trying out the iPhone and is one of the reasons why I didn't stick with it - it's my preferred homescreen and has been for a while.

What's also interesting though is that the E71's native browser doesn't crash on that site because it too is a WebKit based browser as far as I recall. Perhpas it's just an inherent weakness in Safari?

Anyway, the main issue is once again one of choice or lack thereof. One assumes that the reason that Apple don't allow Opera in the app store is that it may not support any revenue sharing arrangements they have with Safari's search partners. Or maybe they just don't want people to know how much better Opera is.

Who knows?
