What's subjective about it?
The current Windows mobile has been dead as a platform for a long time now. Legacy phones is about all there is. With no replacement despite years of promises, it really doesn't bode well for gaining or even maintaining the marginal share.

BTW, Cringley is right, unless you can point me to any hot new product that will be using it. Android, hot, lots of developers and at least 5 companies with products now through 1Q09. iPhone, beyond hot. Nokia, a very big dog, Symbian. LiMo is also under active development.

So, instead of just dissing Adrian, provide some kind of proof that he is wrong. I'll ask it directly, post the links showing MS will have any relevance in this market?
