MSI's somwhat lame effort.
They shipped these machines (from where I don't know) with Linux that didn't have the webcam set up and wireless problems. Amazing they were returned. Now, where, can anyone point me to any place, anywhere, where I can purchase a Linux based MSI Wind. For 2 weeks at various times, the best I can find is pre-order on Amazon.

How and where did they sell any? If they shipped the XP version without webcam driver or flakey wireless, I have a hunch these would be returned too. Also, when their main page, the "Linux" option leads to a dead page, you know how serious they are about Linux.

Hence I am an Acer Aspire One purchaser. Latest, waiting on it to arrive, do some custom tweaks (replace their email client with Thunderbird, 86 Adobe reader for KPDF [holy slow batwoman] and install Pidgin as the IM client) for a flight attendant friends who's laptop was stolen.
