Here in Australia, I've never been with any ISP that has made available drivers or software to connect with Linux. In fact, Mac users have sometimes had problems.
There's something about (all flavors) of Linux that always makes me shiver and think - 1950 USSR. Do you know what I mean, it's sort of ... industrial, barren, I don't know ... paper blowing down deserted streets.
