I offer ZDNet the opportunity to hire me as a proofreader.
"But are there advantages to loading up with 8GB or RAM?"
"I ran three tests with 8GB, 4GB and 2GB or RAM fitted."
Replace or with of.

"I took my main desktop machine - quad-core Intel Core2 Extreme QX9650 3.0GHz system, 8GB RAM, Vista Ultimate 64-bit - and run different tests with different memory configurations."
Mixed present and past tenses. Replace run with ran.

"The system with 8GB of RAM got the image processing done to and a half times faster than the system with 2GB of RAM."
Replace to with two.

"(for example, Photoshop, VMware Workstation is you run multiple virtual machines with lots of RAM)"
Replace is with if. Remove parentheses.
