Anaconda: Since ESX Server is based on RHEL 3, Red Hat and Fedora users should easily recognize the Anaconda Installer. Issue a ?cat /etc/redhat-release? at the command line to see for yourself.

I use ESX Server to provide six RHEL 5.1 ?backends? and I love the bare-metal hypervisor. To create the virtual machines, you will need another machine (preferably a Windows based PC) to attach to the server and download the local client.
