No cell phone has copy and paste so yes, when the iPhone gets it, it will be revolutionary in exactly the same way that no cell phone had a touch screen until the iPhone came out.
In a way, you have to be kind of jealous of the Apple zealot brain. Life is just so simple when someone else (Jobs) makes all of your decisions for you... kind of like a pet. Good Apple zealot, roll over, fetch, get out your wallet!
