This study looked at ...
'publicly available' information. It didn't look at what the
companies did, merely what they said they did, or were
going to do.

For example:

"Review: 0/22 points. Climate Counts found no publicly
available information..."

"Policy Stance: 0/10 points. Climate Counts found no
public information..."

"Report: 3/12 points. Climate Counts has found that Apple
has made some public information available..."

Much like the Greenpeace report, which called HP "good"
for having a plan for future RoHS compliance, but called
Apple "partially bad," even though it already complies with
RoHS standards.

Bad press for Apple is good press for these groups. After
all, how many newspapers and blogs would pick up
"Lenovo bad for environment?"
