How long can AMD continue to blame Intel for its failures?

Could not agree more

I think AMD relied upon "evil Intel" marketing far too much and as you suggest, even AMD fans have switched back to Intel because thats where the bang for the buck is at.

Buying ATI seems to have been a real mistake and has distracted from their core business. I used to be a huge fan of ATI products (especially the All-In-Wonder products.) but again that side of things have stagnated badly in both performance and driver delivery.

It was roughly two years ago AMD said they were going to farm out a lot of the R&D and fabrication. We now see the results...
