Help with xpsp3 uninstall

You maybe able to go into add and remove but I would think probably not. Can you tell me what the desktop looks like? Give plenty of details even if they seem trivial it could be a key. One thing sp3 does put an uninstall file somewhere in the "root of C" if it did not your copy of 98 better be handy you will be in for a complete format of C but your files will still (or should be) in tact find someone with a Linux distro that will access your files or start a Google search. Personally I would have dumped 98 for 2000 years ago but its only a preference. One other note you should give Ubuntu 7.10 a look-see there a plenty of ways to install even on minimal systems.
