Like Windows... ignorance continues to perpetuate itself. devil

I think that eventually people will start to look elsewhere. It's a matter of edumacation! While I am many others have been doing our part to educate the masses, we don't have the large array of $$$ to get on the stupid tube. Since it seems that a majority of Americans get their education from the stupid tube, no access means no edumacation for the masses!

Until a more broad and actual advertisement starts to happen people will not be able to make the choice! Sure you can get Linux pre-installed... but come insights as to why Linux isn't doing so well!

1. How can you make a decision if the option is not readily apparent? Many main stream sellers that offer Linux do not do so without some digging around. Strike one.

2. In many cases the offerings are on limited and lesser hardware. Not exactly a fair go of it now is it? Strike two.

3. To my knowledge the ONLY company to actively advertise they sell Linux is IBM for their servers. The ads I am talking about are in magazines, billboards, TV and once I heard one on the radio. Strike three.

Now with that kind of effort, WTF do you expect?! devil
