I had the same trouble, damn thing acts up then locks me out. within 2 months on a brand spanking new computer....Tell you what, I got tired of dealing with the nimrods in Redmond. Vista has offically pushed me to the doorstep of Linux like nothing ever has before. I went back to XP I was running on another machine. It has its problems but it doesn't lock you out of all of our data when it screws up. I only recovered my data VIA a few tricks I know. Thank god I wasn't using the drive encryption.

Paid for or not, that BS is nothing I wish to repeat.
